Sam and I are struggling in that there are too many orphans waiting for their forever families! The reality that there are MILLIONS of orphans in the world
is too overwhemling and heart breaking!

As we are waiting for our referral from Ghana, we know there are so many children already waiting on several different agencies lists! At times this can cause doubt in our minds as to whether Ghana is the place that our little girl or boy will come from!
We ask ourselves, "why not just adopt one of the kids who is already identified as waiting."
The reality is that we have hearts for all children of the world!

I had to share it

"Lord, give me wisdom and revelation regarding my child.
I know there are areas of Enemy operation which I cannot see,
so I depend on you, Lord,
to reveal these to me as I need to know them.
Speak to my heart."

This is Sam and my prayer every day right now!
Right now in Ghana there are no "possibilities" for boys under the age of 3 that our amazing Romana knows about ... there are however several boys in China already waiting on waiting lists ... there is however a possibility in Ghana for a girl, the operative word being "possibility." There was a little boy in Ghana but he died! Yes, you read that right! This little one year old boy was in an orphanage in the North part of Ghana and became sick with an infection but was never treated (which is what we would have done over here in North America) and consequently he died in the hospital after having been brought there, too late! The even more sad part about this story is that Romana had tried to get him and some other children to Beacon House a couple of weeks ago - but the person in charge decided he was not ready to let the kids go. A couple of weeks later this little boy died.

We are "waiting" on God to make our next step CHRYSTAL CLEAR!
We are praying for wisdom and revelation on who our next child is supposed to be!

Please also pray specifically for the group of children in the North part of Ghana waiting to come to Beacon House, pray that they would soon be given permission to leave the region, and that they would safely make it to Beacon House. Please also pray for safety and wisdom for Romana as she continues to try to get these kids to Beacon House

Please also pray for our 4th child ... whoever he or she might be ... that God would keep him/her safe and that HE would bring her/him safely to us!
