July 17 or July 24

O how deep are God's riches and wisdom, and knowledge! How unfathomable are His decisions and unexplainable are His ways! For all things are from Him, by Him, and for Him! Glory belongs to Him forever! Romans 11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

THANK YOU Jesus for your GOODNESS!
THANK YOU Jesus for your FAITHFULNESS!
THANK YOU Jesus that you have an AMAZING plan for me, Sam, Bella, Faith, Matteus and Kody!
THANK YOU Jesus for the HOPE and FUTURE we have in you!

Our adoption update is limited!

We still do not know anything about Kody's passport, about where it is in the process, and if it is being held up for any particular reason!

If it has made it in the pile with the particular Director of Immigration then nothing has moved forward either, as he has not yet began the process for any of the document verification that he is insisting that he has!

In the event that Kody's passport does not get finished/released in the next two weeks then we are looking at me (Maria) traveling to Ghana on either July 17 or July 24 for about 4 weeks! There has been a TRAGIC, TRAGIC accident taken place that is hindering the finalization of our wonderful foster families' traveling plans!

SOOOOOOOO our plans are still "up in the air!"

We soooooooooooo appreciate your continued prayers for Kody's passport and for the Director of Immigration who really needs a change of heart, as right now his heart is very much against international adoption!
(THANK YOU Heidi for the wonderful pictures of Kody!! Kody turned 6 months yesturday)

Maria,
Your family is on my mind soon after I open my eyes each day. We are praying for clarity and resolution on this passport situation. Kody couldn't be any more precious. All of his rolls are delightful!
We'll be praying for the foster family's needs as well.

Maria,
Praying each day for you here too. What a difficult trial to go through. I'll be in Ghana the 3rd-9th and 15th-19th. I always try to get by Beacon House for a visit. I would love to meet you and your adorable Kody.
