The earthquake in Haiti!

Words cannot even begin to describe the aching of my heart for Haiti right now ... the suffering is unimaginable to my heart ...

I feel connected with Haiti ...

We have friends who God has given a HUGE heart for Haiti to ... and He has used them to start an orphanage that gives life to about 35 kids, that has a medical clinic for the community, and a school for the local community (about 250+ kids attend every day) ... they travel every few months to Haiti ... they have not heard from their ministry people and friends yet ... http://www.newgenerationhaiti.blogspot.com/

We sponsor children through their ministry ...

Sam and I both have been praying about WHEN we should go on one of the mission trips ...

I have a couple of friends who were going on the next trip ... which was planning on leaving THIS SATURDAY (4 days from now) ...

Our senior pastor travels a few times a year training haitian pastors ... God has given him a HUGE vision for Haiti ... our church has done many ministry projects in Haiti ...

Please pray WITH me for Haiti!
Pray for New Generation Ministry!
Pray for our sisters and brothers in Haiti!
Pray for the poorest of the poor - the people that were already so destitute from a type of poverty that has such depths to it that really none of us can ever understand! Such as the children in the picture ... it is from my friend's blogs and it is a group of children who come to get fed in Port-au-Prince once a day for their one and only meal that day and if they get their too late and are one of the 251 children to come they will not get a meal that day as they don't have enough food to feed all that come! Typing that strikes my heart ... the ONLY meal ... the ONLY meal ... and every day children are turned away because they run out of food AND these children live where the earthquake hit!

Thank you for posting this! I was just wondering how to better pray for the people of Haiti. =)
Praying for the people of Haiti. Asking God to do his work through and in his people there. May this tragedy bring some to Christ and may they know his love and power.
