One of our favorite things to do really any time of the year is to go to BEAUTIFUL Whistler in British Columbia with our friends from Trinity Western University, Kristy, Bruce, Ava, and Emerson (and usually Kevin, Carmen, and Jacob are part of the adventure too)!
This summer we got to go again, and again had a BLAST! Although the weather did not cooperative, thee forcast pretty much was rain, rain, and more rain for the whole weekend, we still had a great time! The highlight was definately just being able to spend time with our dearest friends, and being able to do it in such an amazing place like Whistler was an added bonus!
As you can see, the rain did not stop our kids from playing outside! They all loved playing in the puddles and playing in the mud!
We did make a new friend! Well, we never exchanged names, but we did get a good look at him! Whistler is "bear country" and we usually run into one on most of our trips to Whistler! This bear was down in the village and the most popular park in town, helping himself to a snack from the park's garbage cans!
