Please if you think of it, keep Faithie and her doctors in your prayers tomorrow!
Faith is having (Lord willing) her last surgery tomorrow, for at least many years (we know she will need one more in a couple of years)!
As most of you know, Faith was born with serious hand and feet deformities, and tomorrow will be her 6th recontstructive surgery! Yep, 6 surgeries in less than 2 years!
All but one of Faith's surgeries have been done at Childrens by Dr. Hanel who has been WONDERFUL, and all of the staff at Childrens have been WONDERFUL!
They are usually day surgeries, her however still needing to be put completely under, the time post surgery usually being the most difficult! Faithie usually struggles quite a bit right after the surgeries, and in the next day or so following!
I used to be able to hear her coming as I waited for her to come out of surgery/the post-surgery room ... she would come screaming ... now she usually just whimpers or cries!
What a trooper she is ... a new language, a new culture, a new family, leaving everything she knew, and 6 surgeries all at the young age of 3 and 4! WOW!!!!!!!!!
