God's PROTECTION!

THANK YOU Jesus for your protection over our trip!

Honestly, if I were to use one word to describe our trip up North ... it would be "AMAZING!" Aside from an interaction with a seemingly intoxicated man, neither Sam or I felt even the slightest bit of anxiety or nervousness!

Did we have to ride a motorcycle with our precious Kody and hike ... NOPE! We rode in a air conditionened SUV on some VERY bumpy dirt roads, but no motorocycle or long hike! And not only did we have sweet Tanya and her adorable son Philip (what an amazing little boy) with us, we also had Bernard AND Romana! What a BLESSING it was! THANK YOU Jesus!

How did Kody's family respond to us ... they EMBRACED us! The JOY on Kody's birth dad was PRICELESS, a mental picture that will stay in my heart and mind FOREVER!!! His entire family wished us "God's blessings," and they thanked US for what we were doing! What a GIFT this time with them was! They were gracious and kind to us, even giving us a gift to express their gratitude!

Yes, if you read the previous post ... this village REALLY does not have enough food for simple survival ... their were signs of malnourishment on especially the younger children ...

Still, they gave us "eggs" ... we accepted it in humilty ... these people have NOTHING and they gave us EVERYTHING!!! I wish that could be said of me, that I give everything I have ... I have a LONG way to go!

Briefly before we left Kody's birth dad told us that he would ONE DAY SEE US IN HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU Jesus for this family! THANK YOU Jesus for what you are teaching us through them!
