Sometimes I feel like I'm living someone else's life! I'm in Ghana AGAIN ... and how many kids do I have ... FIVE, are you serious ... I can't believe it ... this was sooooooooo NOT my plan for my life but now I would not have it any other way!!
I think George was just as surprised as I am that I am here ...

I spent today at Beacon House & I delivered lots of hugs, cuddled with baby G, painted lots of little girls toes, colored pictures with all of the kids, played with Ella, had lunch with all of the kids, sat with Ella as she napped & then jump roped with all of the kids! I think I got at least one pic of everyone on my list!! And I got pictures which your kids colored, one from each one except from one very sweet little boy who starts with an A who when he found out I would bring pictures for his mom and dad got very busy and made I think made about 10 pictures/notes ... not just the 1 or 2 :)

Ella kept on asking me to go "out!" Tomorrow I will take her out ... tomorrow we file at the
US embassy ...

Ella truly is the most amazing little girl! She has the most beautiful spirit and smile!! She loves to be played with, cuddled, tickled ... she is so eager to be loved & also to love back!! I am soooooooooo thankful for this time that I'm getting to spend with her ...it truly is a gift & I know is preparing my heart as well as hers for the never ending attachment process which lies ahead!

God's calming peace & clear direction from last August is now at the forefront of my heart! Ella is our daughter and this whole adoption journey is about her!! She is loved deeply by her Heavenly Father and His plan for her life somehow involved Sam & me!

And it is time for Sam & I to GET ON OUR KNEES ... please pray with us in bringing our daugther home!!! Although we are close to the end of our processs ...we are not there yet AND we still need her passport ... which is something the enemy can mess with because of the way passports are processed!! We are praying that Ella will be home in February, although I see clearly that she is ready to come home now!!!

SOO I once again entrust one of our children to God, and regardless of the TIMING, I TRUST HIS GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU everyone who is praying & thank you for the posts, they are a source of encouragement to me here in Ghana!

Hey there! I'm sooooo jealous you are in Ghana right now! How fun for you to spend precious moments with your daughter and other children at BH.

I've been emailing, but I know how hard email can be in Ghana. It's looking like our daughter will have a visa on Wednesday and I'm wondering if you're interested in participating in our Christmas miracle. . .do you think you would be willing to escort her to the states? We'd meet up in JFK. Please let me know, so I can work on other arrangements if necessary.

Thanks! Hope you enjoy your time in Ghana (it goes by so quickly!).

Maria,
Your blog is such a blessing.
I showed Andrew the newest picture of you with Ella and he just smiled and waved and said "Fa Fa Fa" over and over.
Praying for you.

Wow...sorry for the days on end with not getting to talk to you! Your family is AMAZING! Sam is a GIFT...but you know that! The kids performance at church was sooo fun! I have video of your little man and Amanda's little man singing...but with their BACK to the crowd because they wanted to "see themselves" on the big screen :O) Ohhhh MY!
You know my heart for you and your willingness to GO and do what you are called to do....and YES it blesses me EVERY time I get to read your blog!
Have you had a chance to do a few of those office things to get me a jump start on the new year for BH? I know you time is wrapping up. (wait till kids are sleeping or napping....do not take time away from your attachment:O)
BLESSINGS!!!
