Our HOUSE update!!!
Boy, am I LEARNING SOOOOOOOOO MUCH this year!!!
When God says "LISTEN to me & do what I'm asking you to do - TRUST ME," ... HE WILL be faithful & He will PROVIDE!!!!!!!! Sometimes it is not at all the way we expect, sometimes it is, sometimes it comes MUCH later than we want, & sometimes He blows us right out of the water!
At the end of January when it was the day before we were going to have our house appraised so we could refinance it because of the low morgage rates - and neither Sam or I felt at PEACE about it ... the constant voice since last May saying "sell your house" not leaving - we decided we would at least GIVE GOD THE OPPORTUNITY to sell the house IF this was what He was truly calling us to do!!
Sometimes knowing "exactly" what we are supposed to do is "complicated" & OFTEN we have to go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out on a limb, JUMP ... and TRUST GOD to provide the next step (or something to catch us)!!!
So on that day we in obedience decided to put our house up for sale - on craigslist - & for sale by owner!!! Well, the week that we were hoping to be in Ghana ... the last week in February God brought 2 buyers ... one of which we signed a contingent offer with!
AND just this past Friday when the embassy in Ghana closed the door on us coming next week ... I had already learned from February that there WAS A BIGGER PICTURE that I did not see & I NEEDED TO TRUST GOD's PLAN for Ella & us ... which I CHOOSE to do!!!
And just today/last night our buyers sold their house ... GOD SOLD OUR HOUSE!!!!!!!! I NOW SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE ... which does NOT usually happen!!!! We are mooooooooooooooving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now for anyone who is questioning God selling our house - don't forget the economy - don't forget we are selling it by owners - and we have a full price offer - and if you knew my prayer & faith journey the last couple of months, WOW God has DIRECTLY answered our prayers & continued to sooooooooooo BLESSED US!!!
I am in SHOCK ... in total AWE ... my head is SPINNING!!!!!!!

P.S. If you are wondering our next step ... we are not sure yet ... finding a 4+ bedroom home is tricky (this would be our ideal) ... and finding a 4+ bedroom house underneath the low morgage that we ideally would like to have is even trickier ... we are LEANING ON JESUS and trusting Him to make the next step CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!
