The daddy of another precious baby who has lived with our Ella for I think the whole time Ella has been there, called on the phone today with Ella!!!! I hope the family of this ADORABLE baby girl does not mind that her picture is on our blog!!

Talking with Ella today made Sam & I both wonder what Ella must be thinking!!! Does she understand what will happen in 12 sleeps! Does she understand that for the 2nd time in her little life she will leave the people that are her family, the people who love her and who she loves back! Does she understand how completely different life is over here versus the country she is living in! Does she worry about whether we will actually love her, respect her, cherish her, and keep her safe for forever and always - no matter what life brings!
I think about if it were me about to go through what Ella is going to go through, a family and culture swap - change - I WOULD totally have fears and concerns (and I am an adult)!!! I personally would even be worried about the "FOOD" that I would have to eat ... that being just one example of MANY things I more likely would be worried about!!!
PLEASE pray for Ella's heart throughout this major transition that will happen in 12 sleeps! PLEASE pray that God would PROTECT her heart!!! PLEASE pray for wisdom & PROTECTION for our family as Ella transitions & attaches to us AND us to her - as a sister and a daughter ... recognizing that this truly is a life long process ... but especially recognizing that the first year is usually the most difficult!!!!!!
We are looking forward to the HONOR of being the FOREVER PARENTS to the this wonderful & amazing little girl - given as a SACRED gift to us from our Heavenly Father!! YEAH ... in 9 sleeps we will be on an airplane heading to GHANA!!!!!!!
