This a picture that was taken in August but it means SOOOO MUCH to me that I wanted to share it!!
The picture is of Faith and a sweet friend from China, a friend who was at the same orphanage as Faith ... at the same time!!
Not only do we adore this precious little girl - we also TOTALLY ADORE her parents and family!! They are a family who we have always admired, and I would have to say that I NEVER thought we would ever get even close to the number of kids they have ... they have 4 bio kids ... and 6 adopted kids (I think I got the numbers right)!! Her wonderful parents were and ARE such an inspiration to us!
Okay, maybe we are not close to their number ... but on some level it feels like it :)
This family was also able to see Faith IN her orphanage - which we never had the priviledge of doing (as her orphanage closed their doors to adoptive families the year we adopted Faith) ... needless to say that they have provided much insight and understanding into some of Faith's (and our) struggles!
This wonderful family moved out of state a year ago or so ... so we do not get to see them very much ... it is soo much fun when we do!
It was such perfect timing too, as we do get to see some of Ella's friends from Ghana ... Faith's story felt like it was getting lost a bit in all of the attention Africa was getting throughout the last couple of years of adopting Kody & Ella!!!
Anyhow, just wanted to share this ...
THANK YOU Jesus for the connection with other families of like minds and hearts ... and for the special Ghana/China relationships for our kids ... THANK YOU for taking care of ALL of the details of our lives!
(I would love another Ghana get together sometimes soooon though ... :))
