Another jewel ... no longer waiting!

Oh JOY!  We have ANOTHER niece!
AND another sweet little jewel ... no longer a waiting orphan!

Yesturday, in Ethiopia a judge declared those words that all adoptive parents long to hear, "adoption granted!"  Sam's sister Indi and her husband Bob are now the forever parents to a sweet and beautiful baby girl!

148 million orphans less one ... I LOVE IT!

In case you are wondering:
Was there process easy?  No!
Did they have to make sacrifices?  Yes!
Did they have to make two trips to Ethiopia?  Yes, they do!
Did they want to make two trips to Ethiopia?  No!
Did they have the money in their savings account?  No!
Did they get a big donor that helped them cover all of the adoption expenses?  No!
Was it easy to leave their other kids at home?  No!
Their whole adoption process was not an easy one, yet they knew God's heart for the orphans, and they knew His voice when He called them and they stepped out in obedience and were faithful AND NOW they have an AMAZING beautiful daughter!  And  if you were to ask them if all of the "hard, difficult, and incoveniences" were worth it ... they would shout at you with 110% confidence that they would do it all again!

This is a picture of Ali's new forever mom and dad, and new sister and brothers!  Ali's sister is also adopted, from China!  This past summer we all flew to Phoenix to visit Sam's siter for the first time ever, it was a WONDERFUL trip!
THANK YOU JESUS for the miracles that you did to intervene not only in Ali's life, but also in the lives of Indi and Bob!  We stand in AWE OF YOU!

Daer Maria,

this is wonderful! Can you send me a mail to my address (muxie@gmx.at), I had a computer crash and lost all my old mails and adresses.

I am flying with Tesfaye to Addis tommorrow and we are staying there till November 10th. We will stay with our friend (the sister of Tamara where we lived in Accra) who is living in Addis with her family at the moment. We will try to find out more about Tesfayes ethiopian family, are going to vivist our Godchild in Addis and just stay a while in Addis to give Tesfaye the chance to get to know the country a little. He is very excited, as you can imagine:).

Sandra will stay at home with Matthias, meanwhile she is two and a half and the sunshine of our family.

If Sams sister needs anything in Addis or just wants to have company, you can give her my mail-address. Friends of mine are also in Addis at the moment to get their son and they too heard the words "the son is yours" from the judge on Friday the 29th.

I am praying for you and your family, whatever happened I am sure there will be a solution!

Love from Vienna, Muxi
