THANK YOU!

It is TIME to bring our next precious jewel HOME!!  It was almost a year ago that God persistently pursured first me, and then Sam and I, by bringing Jase's face to my mind.  A face that I had only seen a couple of times three months earlier on a waiting list.

It AMAZES me how God works, how He pursues us!

It AMAZES me how faithful God is in providing for our needs.
Last April when we took the HUGE LEAP of faith in trusting God to pursue adoption Jase, we had NO CLUE how were going to pay all of the fees that it would require to bring Jase HOME!  And now I once again am completely HUMBLED, full of AWE and PRAISES to our Creator who has done what He does ... performing MIRACLES.  Really, honestly ... we had no clue how we were going to pay for our adoption ... yet honestly, we had a deeper level of peace about it then ever before.

AND for the first time EVER we are going to bring Jase home and have no adoption debt.  Crazy, awesome and ALL GOD'S DOING!  Thank you Father!  In reflecting back ... SOMEHOW ... God provided the money for EACH step of the way.  Sometimes it was through extra work ... sometimes it was through people who choose to come alongside us financially ... sometimes we squeezed out the money ... two times it was through two grants (our FIRST grants EVER) ... once it was through a friend who baked the most delicious bread as a fundraiser for us ... once it was through a garage sale ... and the rest was from our adoption tax credits/refund.

Last April the HUGE financial obstacles of adopting Jase I was honestly was not worried about because I KNEW that God had a plan.  And now I stand in AWE of the details of HIS PLAN!

We did not send out an officical needs letter, yet honestly we have never had as many different people support us financially as did in this adoption!  Every time this BLEW our hearts and MINDS so completely.  Every time it was so completely unexpected.  Every time it was so generous.  Every time we felt so undeserving.

A few weeks ago when we got our TA, we had one of our dear friends give us a HUGE check.  I mean a HUGE check.  OH MY HEART!  And two days ago, another one of our dear friends handed us a check.  OH MY HEART!

Another amazing thing that has happened within the last few months, is that God has broken the heart of our Pastor even more than He has before.  For the last month or so our church is once hugely focusing on God's heart for orphans, specifically through adoption.  There have been video tesitmonies by families, pictures of adoptive families in the bulletin, a fundraising compaign for adoptive families (in parternship with Lifesong), and our pastor week after week sharing God's passionate heart for orphans.  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME and AMAZING!  We truly go to the best church, and truly have a Pastor that is a GIFT!

I'm going to try to post one more time before I board the plane early Friday morning.  But for now I want to SHOUT OUT LOUD MY PRAISES to the Creator of the Universe who still performs miracles and who takes care of our needs, and so much more.

For those who know me well, know that perhaps the biggest miracle of all is that I am going to be a mom of SIX children ... as this miracle involved the changing of my heart on such a huge scale that could only be done by the God of the Universe.

THANK YOU Father!

AND THANK YOU to ALL of you who have partnered with us financially in bringing Jase home.  Your support and help means more than words can say.  You truly have been an instrument of God's hands and feet to us.  Through you He performed miracle after miracle in the details of bringing Jase HOME.  Genuinely and humbly a HUGE THANK YOU!
