Well, she is now the PROUD LEGAL MAMMA of that adorable baby boy!

1 adorable jewel + the amazing mamma and her family = 1 less orphan in the world

Any guesses on where the little baby boy is coming from?

Yep, you guessed it ... Ghana ... and specifically from Beacon House, where both Kody and Ella came from!

The story gets even better!  I wanted to start the post by saying, "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY MAXWELL!"  The reason is because that is what it feels like, as the beautiful mamma above is like a sister to me.  She is not a biological sister, but our friendship and living life together over the last six years makes it feel like she.  Our dear and best friends Abbey and Chris are in the process of adopting the adorable jewel, and are now his legal parents - PRAISE God!!  The rest of their journey involves now dealing with the US embassy in Ghana - and the timing of when Maxwell comes home is completely in God's hands (anywhere from 2-6 months).

Abbey and Chris have MANY pictures from their recent trip to Ghana ... and it brings me right back to my four trips to Ghana ... and it is sooooooooooooo special to me to have such close friends go and experience what Sam and I did!!!

Congratulations Abbey and Chris (Kian, Addyson, & Elsa)!!!  We are STOKED for you!
