This song sooooooooooooo spoke to my heart last week, as we walked with Jase through his surgery and the tough days that followed!!! The truths behind this song sooooo touched my heart! The reality is (at least in my life) that the words of this song have many times been my reality and ARE the reality of this life, on this side of eternity! Yes my life is also so immensely blessed on way too many levels to count, I mean that humbly and genuinely! Yet in the middle of joy and blessings, are often times mixed with heartache, pain, the HARD, and lots of tears! I also think this song is soo counter to our culture and what we as North Americans EXPECT from life, even we as Christians!!! And so for me in the middle of the easy AND the times of hard, I lean on my Creator and Father, and I sing His praises ... as regardless of what life brings, He walks WITH me through it!
A quick update on Jase is that as of the last day or so ... he is PAIN FREE!!! What a celebration in this mamma's heart ... and what a learning of the blessing of living a pain free life, as I know too many live with real serious physical pain every single day!
