Maria is passionate about following Jesus wherever He takes her. This deep level of surrender has resulted in Maria’s life looking radically different than the life plans she made. Maria calls herself a precious jewels mamma, as she passionately believes children are sacred gifts from God. Maria and her husband Sam have ten beautiful and diverse precious jewels. Maria so believes in the value of children that she has devoted the past 22 years to working with children from hard places, currently working as an inner city school counselor. Maria has an MSW from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a BA in Psychology from Trinity Western University in British Columbia Canada. .
